PCIC-compatible PCMCIA controller errors due to disabled mode.

Cause:

A CardBus PCMCIA controller is being used and is initialized by the BIOS to be backward compatible. When Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2 (OSR2) is installed, OSR2 disables the PCIC-Compatibility mode and configures the controllers for the CardBus controller. However, OSR2 does not remove the PCIC-compatible controller from Device Manager.

Solution:

Remove the PCIC-compatible controller from 'Device Manager'.
